Microsoft’s Edge Seems Promoting Skype In Its New Feature

As per recent reports, Microsoft is rolling out a new feature in its browser named Microsoft Edge which integrates with Skype’s Meet now video conferencing feature on its new tab page, and is named as NTP.

With the inclusion of this new feature, the the tech giant aims to provide help to its users to rely on video conferencing to get in touch with their coworkers or loved ones, without needing any Skype or Microsoft credentials.

As seen in the last month, the company has added Skype Meet feature into its Windows 10 preview builds, and now the feature is coming with Microsoft Edge as well.

While having this feature on the browser, users can notice a small video conferencing button to the new tab page of Edge, and the feature is rolled out to devices as shown in the image below.

When it’s clicked over the new Meet Now button, the browser will open Skype Web and launch the Meet Now screen, under which users can create a meeting and other people can join the same through sent invitation link.

Based on the reports, the Microsoft has also unveiled a new feature in its browser Ms Edge, and the feature is termed as “Price comparison” to help users finding the best prices for selected options.

Means, surely the user can compare prices of a product from various retailers in just a single click, and this help if sparing a lot of time and money while shopping online.

In order to get started with this new feature, the users need to add a product to collection and click on “compare price to other retailers” to compare and find the best price of selected product.

In inclusion to above two mentioned feature, the Edge will get another new feature called “Web Capture” that will help users to takr a snapshot of a web article and share them through a PowerPoint presentation with annotation.
